Cassandra Clare rocks
I used to read Cassandra Clare's Harry Potter fan fiction as a teenager, and was thrilled when I saw her work in a bookstore years and years later! An excellent road trip companion for those who like angels, demons, down worlders, and a diverse cast of characters.

slippery when wet
The material that these sandals are made out of make them uncomfortable to walk in when they are wet. Your feet slip around very easily and it chafes between your toes. Dry, they are excellent, but once your feet get wet, it is safer and better to just be barefoot.
