D-Tuna - good idea, not a great execution of the idea.
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich The D-Tuna is a hit and miss item. All the videos and instructions say to not use the fine tuners that exists on a Floyd Rose, however the D-Tuna that I received is not "big" enough to actually push the full step to an "E" when it is pushed in. What this means is tuning to a "D" when it is in the out position will result in a "D#"/"Eb" when it is supposed to be an "E". Using the "fine tuner" on the D-tuna will not push it that extra 1/2 step, and the slant becomes so great you can not use the D-Tuna at all.
The concept is simple - when the D-Tuna is "out" the Floyd Rose fine tuner is not doing anything. So tune to a "D". Now when pushed in the Floyd Rose fine tuner *IS* going to do somehting - it will add the extra 1/2 step. So you tune, using the Floyd Rose fine tuner, to an "E" when the D-Tuna is pushed in. It takes some fudging, but the end result is once the nut is locked down you will be able to use the D-Tunas' fine tuner to fine tune without the it becoming angled so much you can not use it.
Your mileage may vary but I have read a lot of customer posts about how finicky this is to keep in tune. This may be because all the "instructions" say to not use the fine tuners on the Floyd Rose.
The other thing is that I ordered the limited edition red, and after 15 minutes of use the red along the top (Where the EVH is) has scratched off. So unless you get the red one on sale do not pay the extra for it - stick with chrome.

Noisy and plastic - good for "play" time.
This is sort of like one of those children's toys you get all excited about only to get it and find it is cheap plastic. Let start off with the good - I like the tone/s you can get. Now lets go to the negative/s: It is plastic. Plastic - I will say it again: Plastic - with a sticker on it. What on earth were they thinking when they designed this? Also it is noisy as heck when turned on. And it does not matter what you are using - the noise is not the "Well you have single coils and it is just amplifying that" type of noise - with nothing plugged in and just the box being on the hiss makes it mostly unusable. I say "mostly" because you can "control" the hiss by backing off on the tone or gain settings but doing that will, of course, limit what you can do. Did I mention it is plastic?

Lights ok - remote not so much
For the price these are ok. However the "self stick" backing in very poor and does not hold on the surface of a TV. It might be different on wood or metal so your mileage may vary. The remote is useless, let me explain: I have tried to relocate the receiver - tried to move the little "eye" all around but not matter what I do the remote only works when I stand up in front of the receiver and move the remote to about 1 inch directly in front of it. This made it particularly "hard" when first setting the lights up. Kind of reminded me of the "old" days before cable and streaming internet TV when one would need to have a partner - one in front of the TV and one on the roof to adjust the antenna. "How does it look now?" the person on the roof would yell down - "A little more to the left" would come the reply.
I do not hate these so I would recommend them, but only with the cons I mentioned about. If there was a better way to control the lights I would give it a higher review.
