Excellent blu ray presentation
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The blu ray accurately captures the lush sharp photography of this visually rich film and the soundtrack is smooth with negligible hiss, crisp dialogue and solid orchestration. No extras but the picture and sound are the thing and this is great value for money

Excellent blu ray presentation
No extras but the first class picture quality and thumping soundtrack are what's really important, so this is an unmissable blu ray for any half serious Hammer / horror fan.

Essential Hammer Horror in an excellent blu ray presentation
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This unmissable fifth entry in the Hammer Frankenstein series is amongst the company's greatest gothic horrors with Cushing at his absolute best as the ruthless Baron. Happily, the blu ray delivers terrific picture quality that recreates the dark rich look of the source material (as per 35mm and 16mm prints) and is a major improvement on the overly light DVD release. The audio quality is also superior to the DVD, which suffered from a serious lack of bass response and an abundance of hiss..The hiss is still there but far less prominent with a more satisfactory bass level....
