IP65 (First time using a mic)
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich overall a great mic with great features. i myself am a newbie to machining so i probably don't need a mic that is this accurate, something to consider if tens of thousandths and beyond are totally irrelevant to you as they are for me. something of importance to note: you will need a precision gauge block to set the origin of the mic before you can start getting accurate readings with this mic. or any digital metrology tool for that matter. unfortunately they do not supply one with the tool. i picked up a mitutoyo .100" gauge block from zoro tool for around $20. any nominal size will do it just has to be a precise gauge. once you have that you can set origins in all your digital measuring tools with great accuracy. the instructions are fairly jumbled and incomprehensible as with most mitutoyo products i've bought so i plan to make a basic help video for you tube that will demonstrate how to set the origin and use the functions. other than that, it's a darn good mic.
