love John Schneider!!
I respect John so much for making a movie with NO profanity at all. He said he made it for 5-yr.-olds, or for 75-yr.-olds. There are so many similarities to The Dukes in this movie, and I sure do love the Dukes!!

BEST MOVIE EVER!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I saw this movie when it came out in 1973. I had never seen or heard tell of Joe Don Baker before that. I was SO IMPRESSED by him and by the movie that I never forgot the little details, even tho I never got to see the entire movie again until spring 2012 when I just broke down and bought it for myself!
Since then, I have watched it over and over. When it gets to the part where Pauline gets killed, I rewind it and start over. That part is too horribly sad.
This is like the BEST movie ever made. I was so disappointed when Joe Don was not in the 2 _Walking Tall_ sequels, but Bo Svenson was good also.
DON'T EVEN waste your money or time buying any other so-called _Walking Tall_ because you will be cheating yourself!
Since I bought this movie, I have begun a collection of 1970s movies with Joe Don in them. I have studied the characters he has played, and I have come to the conclusion that he should get a LOT more credit for being such a great actor!
