Works well with Some Minor Adjustments
The motor is well made and fits the Walthers 90 foot turntable perfectly. That being said, the motor would only move the turntable deck through a 180 degree arc before the gears started to slip. This is not due to any fault of the motor but is most likely caused by an out-of-round or off center issue with the large gear driving the turntable deck. I addressed this problem by removing one of the motor mounting screws and loosening the second screw just enough for the motor to pivot freely. I also removed the 2 positioning nibs in the turntable pit base cover that mate with holes in the motor housing. I made up a tensioning spring of sorts using a piece on thin brass stock folded in half which I positioned between the motor and the turntable base cover. This allows the motor's gear to stay in contact with the large turntable drive gear.

Great Tool For Laying Track
The template is very useful when installing flex track to ensure consistent radius curves. This is especially critical when running larger wheelbase steam locomotives. The ribbon rail templates lack the slots found in the Peco Tracksetta product that allow Brad's to be inserted to hold the track. However, I have been unable to find 32 and 34 inch Peco templates. The Ribbon Rail templates filled the gap perfectly at a substantially lower price.

Great Find!
Great Cal-Scale brass casting that is hard to find. Price was very reasonable.
