Nice reasonable priced receiver
I was looking for a replacement for the old Yamaha DSP-A1 in my secondary system The old Yamaha still worked well but had no HDMI capability. The new one has 4 HDMI inputs with HDCP 2.2 so it should still be usable if I update to a 4K TV at a later date. Setup was reasonably easy using the microphone to set my 5 speakers. Sound quality is better than I expected from a modestly priced receiver. The setup menus required a little hunting and access to the owners manual to complete setup and customization.
I don't always use the receiver for watching television, so the standby Pass thru feature was important to me. This feature works as I wanted - with the receiver in standby I can turn on my DirecTV client and the TV without the receiver turning on. If I later turn on the receiver, it takes over the sound and process Dolby if available; turning the receiver off from there restores the sound processing to the TV.
No printed owners manual comes with this receiver - one would be nice. I downloaded a pdf version from Yamaha's web site and opened it in my tablet while performing setup.
Although the unit was just installed, I am satisfied with it and, baring some malfunction, will remain satisfied.

Nice but unnecessary & pricy accessory
Works well. Leaves sear marks as advertised. Weber brand name means it is a bit over priced.

Good product that could be improved
Product is very sturdy and rings hanging from it are secure. Holes in product are spaced wrong for spanning floor joists when putting it up. I had to elongate a hole with a file to allow me to hang it as I wanted.
