I asked for assistance from the seller and he was very condescending and defensive for no reason. He even stated that I never purchased the item from him and asked why was I contacting him, he claiming that it was sold to another account even after I showed proof of my eBay/paypal receipt. Eventually I got the item. It was a waste of time contacting him for assistance.

Bought his item and paid immediately, and I get a message after the fact that he messed up the shipping estimate and I need to cancel the transaction and pay the difference. I said no. The conversation quickly turned to telling me "the kind of person I am" for not paying for his mistake and says he'll "cancel my order," which he can't do per TOS. Refusing to ship...have to get eBay involved. So I refused to ship it and Ebay sided with me. He was refunded his money and Ebay did not penalize or charge me for their lost commision.

Now made in China. Reason to pass.
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Well, yet another previously excellent product goes down the Made in China drain. Ok, maybe I'm being a bit harsh as the rings themselves are fine, it's the clamps that are the problem. I was using them on an 11mm dovetail which meant I had to use the additional clamps that came with them. They would not hold the rings on the the dovetail and they were the ones that are suppose to work as indicated by the A stamped on them. I posted about this problem on the RFC website and three other guys posted back with the same problem. I called Burris today and was told that this is the first they have heard of this problem. I find that hard to believe given that with one post on one website I found three others with the same problem. But anyway they were nice enough about it and will be sending me another set of clamps. That's all fine and dandy but I'm really tiered of the hit or miss I've run into with China made products. From now on Made in China is a reason to pass, period. I'll spend the extra money up front because in the end it's worth it.
