My GP was so impressed he has ordered 12 for use by patients on a loan scheme after I had shown him the one I had bought and he used it for several days. Ideal for those with poor eyesight as voice reads out the BP and Heart rate automatically.

The Highs and Lows of buying a JVC GR-D21EK Mini DV Cam
I wanted a cheap and cheerful camcorder that was simple to use and gave reasonable results. There are a plethora of Camcorders on eBay in all sorts of shapes, sizes and prices. I picked a JVC as I had a JVC which I gave to my daughter and it had given me good service and no problems. This model and others in this range have a problem with the CCD which is the core of the Camcorder. If this goes then no picture. I investigated this problem and found out that JVC are doing a FREE, yes FREE of charge replacement of the CCD in ALL Camcorders exhibiting this problem till the end of 2008. They even arrange to pick up and deliver, also for FREE. I obviously got the work done which took all of 10 days and I now have a Camcorder with a brand new CCD and it works exceptionally well. It is basic and does not do some of those whizz bang things the more expensive ones do, but hey all I want to do is point and shoot like most of you. It now does this in spades and I am a happy chappy, so if you want a nice lightweight Camcorder, with a simple point and shoot system with 16X Optical and the capability of 700X Zoom [gets very blocky by the time you get to 70X+], with DV Out, so you can edit on your computer, as well as Digital Effects, Digital Colours and Nightscope,which allows you to film in almost non existent light, all with little intervention by you, this is the Camcorder for you at a knock down price. Do not pay more than £50 for the Camcorder unless it comes with a lot of extras. Remember to get the CCD done before the end of 2008 for FREE. Enjoy.

A good product but there is a CATCH!
This is a well made Remote BUT IS NOT UNIVERSAL unless the electronics is the same as the one you are trying to clone. There are several Frequencies for remotes and unless your original is the same as this one it will not work.
The item is fine if you get it right but if not a waste of money.
