Sturdy
Excellent aid for my father who isn't too clever on his feet now at the age of 82. Great quality finish and very easy to fasten up. Good power coated finish and looks like it will last for years to come.

Product description tells half the story...

When you receive the item is states in bold writing that the bolts have to be tightened up with a torque wrench to precise factory specifications as the three bolts in question if overtightened or not tightened enough compromise rider safety. It’s essential the linkages move freely without been too lose to unwind at speed. I don't own a torque wrench and wouldn't really consider it an everyday tool/ basic diy tool. The instructions also state that a paddock stand or side stand are NOT (bold writing) to be used and a bike lift must be used. Hardly a basic hand tool again!
The advert also reads: Just replace your standard suspension linkage brackets! However it doesn't mention: The front forks have to be lowered 14mm as a result of lowering the rear end by 35mm.... Be warned!
So..... If someone can remove the chain, loosen the rear wheel, dismantle the rear suspension, replace the old linkages for new, tighten it all back up, adjust the chain tension and then lower the front forks (one at a time) to match the rear end in 30 mins with nothing more than a "spanner" I would like to see it it done! Plus if there is a rider who would then ride the bike at 150mph without really knowing if the bolts they have just tightened are too tight or not tight enough without fearing for his life I'd also like to see him.... and don't mean in a coffin 6ft under.
Product is probably ok if fitted by a main dealer, but I wouldn't recommend it as a diy job (which it was recommended as in the advert and was my main reason for the purchase) and quite frankly think it is a very misleading/misrepresented advert. The sellers returns manners are left to be desired too. Quite disgusting reply that belittle you, whilst he tells you to ignore the warnings in the instructions! Then proceeds to tell eBay he has sent a returns label which hasn't done at all.
