Good information from the perspective of the GI
I write fanfiction for the classic TV show Combat! from the 1960s. This is great information for ideas and to keep it reality based from the perspective of the GI.

A fun watch just for the actors
I bought it just because I enjoy shows/movies with David Soul. But having Sam Elliott, Cybil Shepard, Edward Albert, Chuck Connors, etc was an added bonus. Wasn't the most exciting series, but I think it should have been on for more than one year.

One of Michael Douglas' best
I really enjoy this movie. The actors work well together. If you like the director Ridley Scott then you should enjoy this. (He did Alien, Blade Runner, etc) It has his footprint all over it. His attention to light, detail, mood, etc really makes for a great experience.
