Fantastic! Brought back so many memories of childhood.
This DVD is a must for anyone who was growing up in Scotland in the fifties. So real you feel that you're there with the characters. An honest, down-to-earth portrait of the time and the people, and hilariously funny. The humour may not appeal to the younger generation and I was concerned my very English husband would struggle with both the humour and the dialect - but the tears running down his face were proof enough that he got it.

A History of Scotland
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich A fantastic DVD set telling the true 'warts & all' story of Scotland. As a Scot, this is history told the way I want to hear it. I just wish it had been taught like this when I was at school, then perhaps I'd have got better exam results.
