I got it to pre-clean used records before putting them in the ultrasonic. Seems to work well in that role. Little bit loud, but not unbearably so. There are videos on YouTube that demonstrate how to use the unit most effectively, which I recommend watching.

Excellent product with great big toe support. Wore it for the first time playing soccer today. It fit comfortably, all things considered, even in my snug shoes. For the first time in a while, I played pain-free and had no stiffness afterward.
