Cloud Fantasy: The Best Headphones
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Finally my winner for best $300 headphones are the B&W P5’s, the Bowers Wilkins P5’s for those who don’t name drop B&W P5’s in conversation. I really don’t know where to start, is it the visuals, the good looks, the engineering, the sleek sexy body (just look at it), the touch, yeah, that’s the finest quality New Zealand sheep’s leather which is remarkably soft and supple, the killer patch work bag it comes in with magnets to close and even a special spot to put your music player, or is it the only reason you should buy a pair of headphones, the sound?
For those of you that are hell-bent on Noise Cancellation the B&W P5’s aren’t Noise Cancelling headphones like Bose but rather Noise-Isolating headphones basically there is no stupid made up Bose noise which is technically called Active Noise Cancelling but rather Passive Noise Cancelling, meaning no made up stupid sounds just pure sound. As B&W will tell you there is, “a closed-back design with rigid metal faceplates and sealed earpads ensures that all the detail and dynamic range of your music is kept intact, while preserving just enough ambient sound to give you a sense of place”.
How about the sound? “They provide remarkably natural and highly detailed sound on the move, with a luxuriously comfortable fit. Specially developed ultra-linear neodymium magnets and highly optimized Mylar diaphragms keep music sounding rich, pure and incredibly detailed, with no need for artificial adjustments”. Keeping it real, isn’t that what life or at least music is all about, well unless your Rick Ross.
