Great product - great outcome.
I just finished doing a whole-house re-pipe to replace the original 60 year-old galvanized plumbing with PEX and this manifold is a key part of the new design. No complaints about the quality and I am thinking it will have a long and happy service life.
Using a manifold-centric design allowed me to stage the project and keep the household running while the project was underway. The first day I ran the lines from the service entrance and water heater to the manifold and then I just worked fixture by fixture until they were all plumbed; as each was completed, it could be turned on at the manifold and I could move on to the next one. Similarly, should I need to replace a fixture in the future, that circuit can be turned off at the manifold while the rest of the house remains up and running.
