Useful and interesting gadget
The readings it give are quite close to the published forecasts so I think it does its job well.
Unfortunately it does not work properly on my Samsung S6 - it gives very intermittent readings. So if for instance the UV intensity is 5 the reading would stay at zero and then every once in a while jump up to 5 for a fraction of a second and then down back to zero rather than just steadily indicating 5.
I then tried it on an old Galaxy Note that had lay unused for a couple of years and it worked just fine with it, so better check before buying whether it works with your phone.
Visually it appears to be built to a high quality standard.
Overall I would recommend it to anyone as it can be useful to alert you to potentially damaging UV from the sun and possibly even from poorly designed artificial lighting.

Interesting but not so sure how useful
An interesting gadget and by far the cheapest ionising radiation counter one can find but do not get unrealistic expectations on what you can get for the price.
I bought it out of curiosity rather than because I needed it.
The downside is that its sensitivity is not good enough to detect the ionising radiation the one encounters in daily life, such as emissions from granite, radon gas in basements and so on. In fact I could not find anything at home that would make it give any significant reading.
I tried a thoriated lamp mantle, some pieces of granite, ionisation smoke detectors and some pieces of what I believe are uranium glass and some clocks, watches and gauges having phosphorescent digits. In no case could I get any higher reading than the background I got by just leaving the instrument standing somewhere. Typically it seems to give a count every few minutes averageing about 5 to 10 per hour whether just standing around somewhere or being in contact with the low radioactive samples I have.
One reason for the lack of counts is that it only detects high energy x-rays and gamma rays whereas alpha and beta radiation is much more common in easily detectable levels.
The best source of x-rays I have is an old TV set which gives off x-rays of about 24KeV but it had no influence whatsoever on the detector so I assume it is sensitive only to much higher energy x-rays.
I need to mention also that it does not work on my Samsung S6 so I dug up an old Galaxy Note and found that it works OK with that one, so perhaps its a matter of newer phones not being compatible.
What I say here may seem somewhat negative and indeed I would not actively recommend buying one but neither would I dissuade you from doing so if like me you are curious or if you are likely to encounter stronger radioactive sources than are available to me.
Given the price I definitely see it as good value for money as one cannot realistically expect much more at such a low cost. The build quality appears surprisingly good for the price.
With regards to the Android App I am a little disappointed that it does not have a decent logging system. It can just memorise single readings manually.

Works well but could be better in some respects.
Generally does what it's meant to well. Temperature control is effective.
My only issue is the hinge has a lot of free play so one has to manually keep the two tips aligned. While not a big issue it does make it a little inconvenient.
