I bought 6 for gifts!
This is a great book. It is well written with beautiful pictures. I first got one book for myself and then added more because I wanted them for my friends that went with me to CW. Then I took two with me for friends that work there. It is a great summary of the transformation the stages CW has gone through from the start when Rockefeller joined forces with Goodwin to create a living memory of our beginning.
I highly recommend this book. Learn more about this sacred ground where our Founding Fathers walked and created our United States of America.

Just Open this Book and You’ll Be Transported Back to Williamsburg
I love Colonial Williamsburg but I live 3,000 miles away. When I need my CW “fix” I pull out this book and study all the homes, interior and out.
I visited last April with a friend’s and now she is hooked. I bought another copy of this book for her very own. The book is so colorful and can brighten anyone on a dreary day. Just

The Marquis de Lafayette was a Big Help to America
This Frenchman who came to America as a young man did much to help the Colonies win their freedom from Great Britain.
Included is a list is gifts presented to Lafayette, such as a Remembrance Ring with George and Martha Washington. A city was named for him and many Statutes. He was a kind and generous man with all the patriotic characteristic Americans admire.
This book was written just after he died. Read the book to find out how he spent the rest of his life. Very admirable. c.fall
