Great small food storage containers
I currently own these 2 sizes of Corning Ware containers.. I use them frequently for leftovers storage and reheating. We purchased a second home and I wanted these two sizes of Corning Ware containers to use in that home. I am very familiar with the characteristics of Corning Ware. It can go from refrigerator to oven or in microwave. It retains heat. Do not break easily. Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean. Can soak and use plastic scrubber. Can use baking soda for tough stains.
The difficulty is finding the lids. I currently own 3 types of libs. Glass lids, hard plastic that can go in microwave, and "softer" plastic that can't go in microwave. This set of 4 containers (2 sizes) only included 1 lid. This set was the best price for 4 containers in the 2 sizes I wanted.
I have enough lids to manage. I've used waxpaper, plastic wrap, or a small paper plate to cover these containers when used in microwave or refrigerator.
Gave 4 stars rather than 5 only because of having only 1 lid included.
