Awesome system for cost

Solid option for Verizon customers needing a world-ready phone with Android
My first foray into the android world after Blackberry. Main reason for purchase was overseas ability with the phone's quad band ability. Cannot yet rate on that feature although unlocking the phone was simple enough with a 5 minute call to Verizon. I do miss some of the intuitive features of BB such as auto capitalization when holding a letter key. The qwerty keyboard on the A956 is not as user friendly with its wide stance and position under the screen. Touch typing on the screen is an option but also presents problems mostly with accuracy. That said, I AM in love with the larger screen, zoom ability, and android apps. Wish I could learn how to program an auto-off and on like with my Curve 2, though. Overall I recommend it.

West coast centric
Excellent resource for ubiquitous species or those out west. No ruby-throated hummingbird. No blue jay. West coast versions though.
