Compelling tale.
This is a narrative describing the creation of the US Federal Reserve. While it could possibly be somewhat speculative, no part is clearly false. The links to history hold up, and the connections to real people and industry holds up.
If the story is fictional, it's very well done. Even very skeptical readers should enjoy this descriptive history of an unquestioned mainstay of the modern economic system and the men who designed it.

Taxes have never been so interesting.
This book provides delightful insights into the modern tax system, and provides an overarching framework to explain why certain behaviors receive favorable tax treatment while others do not.
I generally think of finance as a very dry area, but have enjoyed this book.
