Great for dandruff
I buy this for my dad who has suffered of dandruff all his life. A friend with very shiny hair recommended it and it seems to do wonders, as my dad has asked for more. I've never used it myself as I don't have dandruff; I hear the tar smell takes some getting used to but is well worth it. A therapeutic miracle it seems! Would recommend it on the account of my dad's experience with it.

Best facial wash for combination skin
This is the only range I ever use nowadays for my combination skin. I am 30 and still have occasional break-outs (I was promised they would stop once I am no longer a teenager, they lied to me!) and La Roche-Posay Effaclar is the only range that works by targeting the spots without drying out the rest of my skin. In combination with Effaclar Duo this is the ultimate face care routine! I love the purifying facial gel because it lathers easily and smoothly and I feel like it leaves my face fresh and clean after a day being out an about. It also removes make-up very efficiently. Definitely recommend, especially in the value size.

A great timeless beauty essential
This product is brilliant for providing lavish moisture without leaving the skin greasy. Have read many brilliant reviews about it and can confirm it lives up to the hype. Relatively low cost for its reputation, has been compared to La Mer in terms of efficacy. I love the delicate fragrance, the origin (the French know their skincare) and the texture — quite light, easily worked into the skin, barely greasy (unlike Weleda Skin Food, which is super rich and sticky). I apply it at night before bed and when I wake up my skin feels moisturised and plump. LOVE it! 5/5 stars.
