Save your money and buy a better made transit it is a toy.
There is no adjustment for the back eyepiece, the tangent knob only locks the head tight, the slow motion tangent did nothing to turn the circle. The level screws do not have enough space for your figures to barely move. The cross hairs were not level and this is straight out of the box. It is a toy I regret buying it.

This plumb bob is a great product
The plumb bob is good quality and came with other tips to replace if need be. It is a longer made model so it will work better for finding the head of a nail. I would buy it again.

Over all seems to be a top quality product.
The pros are the price is reasonable, it is well made and appears very strong. The shipping was fast. I trust it will last a long time. The cons are, the red ink is very light and a little hard to read. It lacks a rear hand grip for another person to hold. There is no way to fasten the rear end to a fixed point. A winding spool would have been great. Other than these cons it is a great product and I would buy another if I need it.
