Can't beat the cost!!

Nice Slippers - Terrible heating element
The heating element is very poor quality - wires sealed between two pieces of stiff fabric tape. The heating strips were all crumpled up inside the slipper. I took them out straightened best I could (creased), reinserted and added new 9V batteries. They barely put out any heat. I have heated socks that are battery operated and I know that you usually don't get REALLY warm heat but they do get warm enough and last at an hour or two before batteries exhaust. It seems the battery was dead after about 20 minutes and there was no heat, not even a little after that. You can't tell exactly when the batteries wear out because there is no indicator light to show you whether or not there is power when you slide switch to "On". The slippers themselves are nicely made and very soft for the price and would work fine with disposable warmers, but the battery part is worthless.
