Good camera not optimal for surgical use

I’m a neurosurgeon. Bought this camera for documenting surgeries. Few issues with this product. Battery short life - out of box, after first full charge, the battery lasted for 2 hours recoding time. The head mountain covers one ear, interferes with environmental awareness, which is super critical in OR setting. The earpiece, reads time to time operational messages - “stop/start recording”; super annoying- no option to regulate the volume, so time to time you get shouted at. After 10mins of recording, the camera gets warm - which gives an occurred sensation (potentially dizziness) while relatively maintaining static position during surgery. The zoom feature is useless at max scaling- the picture is 16*16 pixelation. The firmware crashed, and had to hard reset it in order to get it operational. Interface with mobile device via dedicated Wi-Fi is strange and laggy. Pros - cheap - can regulate the exposure which compensate well for the super bright surgical light source - the built in gimbal compensate nicely small shakes but does strange transitions with big motions. For improvement - a modular mount would be nice to put the cam on different head gear such as surgical glasses or light source The existing mount limit the use of other surgical headwear equipment - laser pointer- time to time during surgery wasn’t sure what the camera is looking at - an add on pointer would fix this problem Bottom line- good start but not sufficient for use in surgery
