MultiFunctional
This solder station is a brilliant combination of necessary tools for the average bench tech.
And, the reason I purchased it was for the replaceable and small tip size.
However, the reason for the not-so-good review is because of it's quality.
The soldering iron is of low quality:
There is a white ceramic-like insulator which is supposed to encompass the element itself. It was shattered into bits and powder. The iron still works, but this damage takes away from the overall operation.
The probes for the volt/ammeter are also of low quality -Even in light duty, they are easily damaged. But, over-all, for the cost of the unit, it's better than most.
