Cheaply made
Cheaply made. With the plastic insert, I could have sewn one up in 10 minutes, with nicer material and better stitching.

Ready, Set, Fear Not... Know God, CHANGE!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich When we recognize what really matters, all that does not matter in comparison falls to the wayside and can no longer hold us captive. People's opinions, thoughts, criticisms, judgements, acceptance, response or reciprocation or gratitude, provision or protection, will no longer be the bridge over which we must find explore a sense of self esteem. Our image of self will no longer be determined by the needs we did or did not get met as children. We will not fall into the swinging pendulum between self-abasement to borderline health-seeking narcissism before discovering balanced truth about what real love looks like; freely given because we know God and He loves us. This is a the book about CO-dependency you haven't read yet. It's spiritual more than psychological. It may be the last you'll ever need. It gets to the root of the problem and the heart of the cure. I dud not agree with all of the author's theology and did not think all of it was necessary to prove or support the basic most important truths. But like all books, it should be read with a filter and by understanding how to first study scripture for foundational Bible theology. The topic of the "fear of people" and its stranglehold becoming nothing short of idolatrous in our hearts, minimizing God and quenching the Spirits power in our lives, and seeing it as sinful indulgence of "need" of others, is exactly what needs to be addressed and not sugar-coated anymore. We need God first, more. No person can ever fill or fix what we did not get as children or what someone damaged in us. Grasping for it from any human will only lead to bigger piles of people who will wound and fail us. Addressing our NEEDS as "fear of men" or idols of desire, and replacing them with knowledge of God, His encompassing love and presence and truth and what it means to fear Him above all else, will transform and free us... into peace that passes understanding.
