Better than the Original
I consider this to work better than the original Sony remote I own. And it is half the price! I bought the FOTGA remote so I could hack the buttons to control my Sony cameras with my custom set up. It works great, easy to open and solder wires to the contacts on the switches. The connector on my Sony remote bent so it would still install in the camera but wouldn't work. So far these work with no issues.

Works great for the a6300
I bought the Sony wired remote but I prefer the JJC over the Sony. The power switch is on the front and is easier to use on the JJC. In addition, the 1/4-20 screw mount built in on the back makes mounting easier. Finally, the JJC has an LED showing when the camera is on. Note the cable connector feeding into the remote is standard USB mini connector. At half the price of the Sony remote, get the JJC!

Okay timer but use with caution
There are some good things I like about this timer but there is also wrong information in the documentation that prevents me from using it. There is always translation issues on items from Chine but the documents I found describe the timing begin when the trigger is applied (mode 3 for example). It does not, the timing starts on removal of the trigger signal, not when it is applied. Furthermore, if triggered again during the timing event, it RESTARTS the timing! Most quality timers would ignore subsequent triggers during the timing cycle. However, it is a fairly reasonable timer if your trigger is dependable and you take into account the delay caused by the trigger method. It is one of the few timers that has millisecond accuracy.
