Branded everytime.
Worth buying a branded cable everytime, tried the slightly cheaper unbranded cables and have had nothing but trouble with them, save yourself some time and effort.

Fly Casting
A good DVD, not too long or overly complex, would be fine for an Angler with a couple of monthes "no haul" casting under thier belt.
Has it helped me??, Yes........within a couple of hours of watching the film I had added 6-7 mtrs to my cast, a big improvement quickly, but slow since then, no suprise !!.
Instruction by a qualified caster is still going to be the best method of learning quickly, but for the anglers living out in the sticks, it should help you.

LED WP transformer
Good quality unit, well marked and performs without issue, running it with about 60-65% max load and it's nice and cool, would buy again.
