Old place mats
There's a difference between 'vintage' and 'worn out.' The product is okay but obviously used -- one of the place mats is frayed and they all look obviously warn. The color is also very orange, which was unexpected and not to my liking. I didn't have the time or energy to return them. My loss.

A Delicious Foray into the South's Culinary Roots
This book is a labor of love by one of PBS's most beloved program hosts, Chef Vivian Howard, whose farm-to-table philosophy is both educational and inspiring. Here's to Vivian, her loving family and friends, and her commitment to her roots in Eastern North Carolina--which she reveres like her European counterparts do Tuscany or Provence--and its tradition of delicious, home-grown food. Deep Run Roots is a hefty tome and not a cookbook in the typical celebrity-chef way. With her background in journalism, the chef/author takes her time to share her background as well as her knowledge about the ingredients she explores one at a time, which is illustrated with exceptionally beautiful photography. This is a highly recommended and delicious read. Bon Appetit!
