Great Looking Watch That is Too Thick and Heavy to Wear
This is a very beautiful watch with the perfect mix of features. I hated to return it, but it was just too thick and heavy. I previously had a Seiko Automatic (from the 1970s) with the exact same features that was smaller, thinner, and much lighter, so it can be done.

Review of Zeppelin 7086-1
This is a good watch. I recommend it, but with caveats.
PROS:
The hour hand for the 12-hour totalizer is in its own separate dial. It is fairly large and contrasty, making it much easier to read than some other watches such as the Zeppelin 7680, where it is almost invisible.
It is much thinner and lighter than most other chronometer watches, and smaller in diameter than most current watches.
All displays are clear, uncluttered, and easy to see (even with my old eyes).
The Art Deco style is attractive and elegant.
Relatively low price
CONS:
The plastic “crystal” is prone to scratching
Does not have a day display
Angled date display at 4 O’clock position rather than a straight one at 3 looks silly
Superfluous second hand in sub dial
Plain white dial looks a bit cheap. The silver dial of the Zeppelin 7680 and the faint concentric rings in its sub dials give it more of a quality look.
