Cleans well, but is a bit behind in intel
I bought the iRobot Scooba robot after having an iRobot Roomba for an year and seeking a solution to the non-carpeted spaces at home. Especially the kitchen and corridor need some special care due to the active use. I'm generally very happy with the robot - it's q bit quieter than the previous generations of it, also a bit more solid. It's critical to check whether yours has metal container-holder. Previous models I've seen had a plastic one, which was getting broken very quickly.
The only aspect, which is sort of annoying is that Scooba is a bit more stupid than Roomba. It doesn't deal well with corners and generally has no notion of "done" - it simply runs until its cleaning liquid is over. I guess once Scooba robots reach to the Roomba level, with scheduling (so you will be able to sequence the two, or even make them trigger each other once the first is done) - this will close the circle of cleaning at home. As of today - they do wonderful job, however you still need a backup "classic" vacuum cleaner just in case.
