SO Expensive! Worth every penny…
Very easy system to install. Biggest hassle is running lines/hoses in tight spaces. Makes your boat drive like a dream!

Definitely Worth the Upgrade
This is a very nice upgrade for your W211. Plug and play and very easy to install. Takes about 5 - 10 minutes to remove the plastic trim at the base of the trunk opening and unfasten and move some molded carpet out of the way on both sides of the trunk behind the access to the tail lights. After that, it’s about 5 minutes of work on the driver’s side and about 10 for the passenger side (you have to unbolt an air canister on the passenger side that isn’t present on the driver’s side - you don’t have to disconnect any lines, just unbolt the canister so that you can move it out of your way). Five nuts have to be removed per tail light, and each tail light has a pigtail to disconnect and connect to the new tail light. The pigtails are easy to access and require very little effort, unlike some pigtails in cars that are hard to access due to limited space. Finally, about another 5 minutes or so is needed to put all the molded carpet and plastic trim back in place. It’s faster putting it all back together because at this point you are more familiar with the process. Mine when I’m hassle free AND error free. The listing states that adapters with resisters that are plug and play come with it. Mine did not come with them, but they must now be built into the internal circuitry because I have haven’t gotten any errors. This is good because the adapter versions get VERY hot which means you have to be careful where you place them. These are a definite “Recommend” for your E-Class.
