Quantum Cabo 50 is a beast
This is my go to spinning reel for all my local fishing needs. It’s smooth, lightweight and powerful. I’ve tamed some big fish including a 39# Chinook Salmon, 36# Striped Bass and most recently a 50# California Halibut. It’s a durable beast packed with a lot of quality features and I highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed.

So far...so good. A 4-star winner ****!!
Extremely attractive, light weight yet strong surf rod. Just used rod for first time and impressed with casting distance chucking 4 oz. weight. Loads up and launches very well paired with my Quantum Boca 80. Also like the x-wrap vinyl grip instead of cork. Only time will tell about durability or other issues with rod eyes etc. However, so far I must say it's another well-built, competitively-priced Daiwa product!
