We are very happy with the PT-4.0
This is not a "sauce" and I didn't classify it as such; some "Hal" did that. But, this is a very practical and effective water purification system. This review follows the purchase of our second Vertex PT-4.0 system. It fits easily under the kitchen sink, and cleans up our nasty water nicely. Our West Texas water has never been approved by the State of Texas, and tastes likewise. It also provides clean water for our refrigerator's icemaker. You will spend some time on installation, and must follow the directions carefully, but once hooked up properly you will like the purity and taste. This product was recommended to me by a guy who sold much more expensive systems for a living, and he was correct in his recommendation. Change the filters as required in the owner's manual. The filters are available on line; don't buy the ones made in China.

Good and bad
Pellow concentrates on the problem areas with 356 and 912 engines, which is important, but gives no information on the proper method of engine removal, teardown, rebuilding, improving, orreinstallation. There isn't a single torque value in the whole book. If you are rebuilding 356 or 912 engines, it is important for the sole issue of problems. Get another book for the proper sequence for rebuilding.
Update: If you are going to rebuild a 356/912 engine, get "Secrets of the Inner Circle" by the same author. That book is what you need, and it is a lot cheaper.

Chinese, but it works.
I bought it to calibrate my torque wrenches, hardly what it was originally designed to do. But, it worked. I checked its accuracy with known weights, then hooked it up to the wrench. The strap went on the wrench and I put a dowel through the hook for a better handle. Further explanation of the calibration technique is probably outside the envelope for this review. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it was made in China. Could not find one made in the U.S.
