Good old kit

Unlike other reviews I’ve seen, this kit is the correct scale (I’ve compared it to the new tooled one I have) and is a fun kit to build. The decals are nice and go on easily. It has raised details which I don’t mind. The crew don’t fit particularly well but that’s fixable. Overall I recommend this kit to any old airfix fans.

Good model

For a vintage mold it goes together nicely. Decals are also good quality.

Good kit for beginners

It’s high quality kit. There is little to no flash whatsoever, and all the parts fit nicely. There are relatively few parts, and is easy to assemble. The only downside is there are no locator pins for the fuselage, so you have to be careful when gluing it together. If you’re looking for a detailed kit, this isn’t for you. The kit has very basic detail. A few nice features about this kit is it includes a pilot figure and has options for both gear up and gear down. Overall, it’s a good kit. PLEASE NOTE: When attaching the wings, it’s best you attach the bottom of the wings to the fuselage first instead of gluing the top and bottom of the wings together beforehand, like the instructions indicate. If you do attach the fully constructed wings, know you have to attach them by sliding them in at an odd angle and jiggle them into position.
