Logitech - Please Manufacture These Again
I've had Logitech products for 15 years due to the IR option allowing me to control my home system being located inside of a cabinet. I ordered this as a replacement after I dropped my existing one that I had for 8 years. I hadn't realized they quit manufacturing these in 2021. The replacement wasn't as easy to program due to the fact that I couldn't access the screen on my old one to add a remote and the app didn't allow me to do so. Fortunately, I had the Harmony desktop app and was able to copy the info onto the new remote without having to program from scratch. I really wish they would still make these as there is not a good replacement on the market for people that use IR. Kudos to Logitech for keeping the app up and running for existing customers, putting detailed instructions on their site for how to use the system through an app should your remote no longer work, and for providing customer service for the remote if you have problems with the app.
