Compact, light duty
It's a great, compact design, and it does the job. But next time, I'll order a plug-in version. The battery power isn't really strong, and the plastic blade housing doesn't seem durable. They included a spare, so I hope it's easy to install. If you only need a pencil sharpener occasionally, this could work for you. But if you have a lot of pencils, to sharpen regularly, you'll need a heavier duty machine.

Great value!
This slicer has a beautiful chrome finish, and it has a sturdy feel in your hand. I love that the slice thickness is adjustable, but it stays where you adjust it. In the past, I've had adjustable slicers that move with use. So your first few slices would be perfect, but then the slices get larger and larger. That doesn't happen with this slicer. And it comes with an EXTRA wire!

This tray and box combination are expensive, but if you love organization, it’s the best way to keep your cones arranged.
