Stolen children try to walk home across Australia.
Disclaimer, I haven’t seen this yet; it was a gift for my mother, who loved “Walkabout.”
She reports the DVD arrived in excellent condition, in new or like-new packaging, and played perfectly. She has loaned it on to my sisters. When this pandemic gets under control I will go watch it with her!!
“Rabbit Proof Fence” is based on a memoir, and the actual author has a little cameo in the beginning. And the fabulous David Gulpilil (who was the Walkabout boy in Walkabout) plays a tracker in this movie.
My mother also says: watch all the extras at the end; lots of great stories about casting and directing.
