Interesting book showing life at the operating level in a WW2 tank unit.
This autobiography does an outstanding job of conveying life in a U.S. Army tank unit - much better than the film FURY did. The young man grows up in a hurry when sent as a replacement gunner on an M4 Sherman. He and his tank mates received an M26 Pershing tank late in the war with the barest of training to operate this new vehicle.

1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This model went together nicely. Speaking from experience, artillery pieces can be a nightmare to assemble properly. The 25 pdr. gun in this kit was a pleasant exception and it came together without problems.
