My husband collects Hot Wheels cars, and we both grew up in the '80's, so Back to the Future is a favorite movie franchise for us, and this car is absolutely perfect! I especially love the level of details on this one - it even includes a tiny "outta time" licence plate!

Vintage Plasticville Farm Animal Set
These are such incredible little animals! They are vintage and therefore not necessarily readily available, but I highly recommend them if you can find them. They're great for either actually using them in scale modeling, because they're extremely realistic and detailed despite their tiny size, or as a fun vintage piece with their original packaging. If you do plan to use them, be aware that painting them takes major patience, because they are incredibly small, and some are attached to snap-off pins and may need light sanding once separated.

Good historical fiction
I had not read this particular author before, but I love historical fiction, and I saw that this book had been recommended by another author that I like. I enjoyed it very much, and I will now look for further books by C.W. Gortner.
