Very Powerful and Apparently Well-Made Blower
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I say "apparently" well-made because I've only owned it for less than a month... time will tell. I've used a Husqvarna hand-held, much cheaper blower for years and it has served me well. Problem is, it is getting older and somewhat less powerful, and it costs too much to maintain/repair compared with the price of a new blower. Also, my property of about 1/2 acre is full of trees, I have a large driveway, long sidewalks, and a deck that accumulate a lot of debris. The new blower I'm reviewing not only takes 1/4 the time to clear hard, flat surfaces (like the driveway), but it can move debris on the lawn into piles ready for bagging -- easily! This means much less hand-raking.
Set-up was a breeze (pun intended). Instruction about placing the throttle and cable could have been better; however, there are You-Tube videos on-line where you can see what the assembled product should look like.
Registration with Husqvarna to double the warranty wasn't ideal. Initially, I didn't realize I had to uncheck the box saying it was bought at an independent dealer, to be offered the opportunity to attach the purchase receipt. My first registration, therefore, was incorrect, and I had to re-submit to correct this problem. One has to attach the receipt for the fuel/mix that must be bought with the blower to obtain the warranty extension, but Husqvarna does not acknowledge its receipt and acceptance. (I don't want to submit a claim after 3 years and be told I don't qualify.) Instead, it warns that a receipt must be sent, even though it was. I had to phone to get that assurance.
As I said, the blower functions very well. Starts easily. Doesn't feel heavy on the back and easy to put on. Strap across chest but not waist (instruction is confusing because higher model, covered by instruction, has a waist strap). Noise and vibration not objectionable.
Don't like conflicting descriptions about appropriate fuel to use. Spec says regular no-lead fuel is OK but elsewhere Husqvarna says one should use premium fuel that has less ethanol. Apparently, Husvarna does not want to scare away customers who store regular no-lead for all other purposes; yet, they want to be able to say future fuel-system problems are caused by ethanol in regular gasoline? Husqvarna should build engines to withstand ethanol, just as most other small-engine and car manufacturers must do (and cover the warranty if there are problems -- no questions asked). I have no problems since the product is new but I'm apprehensive about using regular no-lead in the future.

Excellent Performance Rivaling Original
Excellent performance by all 3 artists. Performed at older age, I like this at least as well. Bought another as a gift after receiving mine. Ordered from mgarry22.
