Nice & compact, good value, does what it says, needs a 5V DC supply feed via the supplied USB cable.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Very much plug & play, works well in my set up of Panasonic NV-HS950 SCART feeding my Samsung LS27E510CS PC monitor. For 4:3 aspect ratio images from the VCR the display has to be set to PC-AV mode then AV to display 4:3 rather than 16:9 which is too stretched out. The white HDMI cable with the converter was great as its thin and white which is less obtrusive.

Bulb life issue
Fitted both bulbs into our electric cooker which has two ovens. One blew after about 4 hours of use tripping out the electrical supply to the cooker. Thankfully our food had just about finished cooking before it tripped out the supply so at least it didnt spoil our dinner! The other bulb is still going after about 10 hours use but we do wonder how long it might last. These bulbs seem to be of doubtful quality and looking at other reviews we are not alone in our experience!

Compact and well constructed
This unit was purchased in order to repair a Sony Hi-Fi system with 5 CD player. You have to know what you are doing in order to fit and run this unit successfully and therefore be an Electrical Engineer or at least someone used to such hardware. It didn't 'Lase' out of the box, it needed a slight adjustment to the Laser current in the main unit to get it to run. I think this might be due to the unit not being set up from the factory and therefore cheaper as this 'labour' element has been cut out of the production loop so to speak. Anyhow, it still represents fantastic value for money, you just need to know what you are doing. Also, a very important point, there is a static protection solder bridge that needs to be removed with a soldering iron before you can run the unit, otherwise it would never work.
