nice camera particularly as a back up

it serves me well
no complaints so far
batteries last pretty long, have not had any noteworthy interruptions while shooting stuff

Canon sd500 - nice camera
i had one that broke (when I accidently dropped it
so i knew it and was able to use it sucessfully
the only drawback is the mem chip which is a little small at i think 2 or 4 gb
when looking to do more in the video area
other than that its a wonderful camera for most photography tasks
additionally it is well shaped, configured, looks and feels good in the hands
