A great way to upgrade your Thule roof rack
The greatest disappointment with the Thule roof rack system is that they only provide 2 of these allen keys instead of 4 - ie one for each foot. You therefore have to keep removing the key to go round to the other side and then use silly plastic keys to hold two of the foot tensioners in place.
If you can afford them these make a great addition to the supplied kit. They will last a lifetime as you can change the feet/bars etc for each new car - as long as Thule don't change their design!!.
Alternatively, you might be able to buy a standard T grip allen key without the torque control for much less, and this supplier should consider supplying these as well if they are available

The best value foldover A4 clipboards I have found
These are shorter than the foolscap clip boards more generally available, and so more convenient for EU citizens.
The quality is acceptable - they are just cardboard with a sheet plastic cover welded at the edges. There are more robust clip boards available for more heavy duty use, but they are more expensive and these are a good starting point. I have not worn one out yet.
Please note that the so called "pen holder" is worse than useless - you cannot close the cover with a pen in place!! Not an insurmountable problem as I just slide the pen under the main clip instead.
