"Behind the Scene" with a Gilbert and Sullivan Star
John Reed and his co-author give the inside story of his celebrated career as a Gilbert and Sullivan leading comic performer. An enjoyable read.

A very compelling account of an artist who deserves wider recognition. This author has a flair for telling an artist's story. The only flaw which has much to do with the production values of the era in which the book was published, is that Seago's work is not shown in its full splendor which requires color reproductions of the highest quality. Since the illustrations don't strongly support the story, I've subtracted a star.
