Was OEM which was very important.
The unit works great...it is creating many ice "cubes" Only issue I had, which is not performance or product related...I wish it was in its original packaging. The unit was wrapped in a thin layer of bubble wrap and stuffed in a very thin cardboard box. I was not thrilled when I received it. My impression was that the item was new, but more than likely, removed from a freezer because the customer did not want an ice maker.
