Buying Second Hand Smart Phone NOT a Good Deal
I was looking for another 9530 because I had recently purchased one for my wife. Hers is stellar as was a refurb and works great. The one I bought however had a slightly lacking description and only one very poorly shot photo. I thought the price was right so I jumped on it anyhow. First off when it arrived and I inspected it I discovered that it apparently led a hard life. Majorly scratched and banged up. No accessories, charger, or anything. Once it was charged it appeared to be OK. However after loading latest OS and unlocking once it was on for about 30 minutes the fun started. Screen started flickering and lost input capability. Took it to the BB warranty approved repair center here in Panama and after a week they notified me that the screen is bad and needs a 189 dollar replacement. Not such a good deal after all. I will not be repairing it. Goodbye money!Buyer beware especially when purchasing used cell phones.
