These reasons are why im not putting a negative review. Absolutely poor packaging, The box was the not big enough for the item but was just crammed in and wrapped in a cocoon of tape to keep it in one piece. Ain't that hard to find bigger boxes and use some bubble wrap around the item and the bottom of the box.

Very good boots. The plastic inserts shattered within minutes of putting the boots on but that’s expected for old boots. I just put some new modern inserts in and the shoes were ready to go. Thanks for the boots.
