For diehard collectors
Apart from historical value this has poor audio quality with a strange hiccup now and again. I can't see any problem with the surface of the disc. The band plays at one very loud level throughout, rather typical of big bands in this country at the time. Tubby's solos are as always terrific but there are many many big band recordings far more worth your time than this I'm afraid.

Music that has sadly disappeared
Exciting wonderful music by the greatest big band ever. John Park sax solos brilliant and outstanding musicianship all round. Delivered to me in 48 hours.
