Extremely Hard to Assemble!! Poor Instructions! Holes Don't match Up!!
The unit is made of particle board which crumbled in some places during assembly. For over $700 I expected real wood and a higher quality unit. The photos show one unit and on wheels. This is what I expected. What I received was two separate units, one of which still has to be hung on the wall. The unit is extremely hard to assemble. The directions are poor at best, and I had to go online to obtain a set that could be expanded enough to actually see the detail. Many of the hardware parts were not listed, or mixed in bags that indicated they went to another area. Manhattan Comfort told me there was a TV mount included. I found some U brackets but no instructions on how/where to mount. I'm not drilling into an expensive unit without a template or instructions! I contacted Manhattan Comfort several times and am still working with them. They were polite and tried to be helpful but didn't really solve my issues. They offer installers, but not in Texas. They told me to go to the internet to try and find someone in my area. Really? I'm at 80% on the build and just hit 10 hours assembling. The unit should look good when done but I question the amount of time it takes to figure out how to put it together, and actual assembly time. After finishing the assembly I definitely would not recommend this product. None of the pre-drilled holes matched so I had to drill new ones. This was the most time consuming confusing builds I have ever completed.
